Croxdale cemetery

Allotments

The Parish Council provides allotments on four sites with a total of some 50 gardens. Fees and Charges are reviewed on an annual basis, charges for 2024/25 are detailed below:

The allotment area is very popular and there is currently a waiting list for plots held by the Clerk. If anyone wishes to be added to the waiting list or would like further information please do not hesitate to contact the Parish Clerk.

Durham County Council Allotments

Cemeteries
Croxdale and Hett Parish Council is responsible for the cemeteries at Croxdale and Hett Cemetery, Hett Lane.

Garages
The Parish Council has an area at the rear of Front Street East where people can erect a garage. The garages should be kept in good condition and are for the storing of private vehicles only. If you would like to be added to the waiting list please contact the Parish Clerk.
The current rent is £48.00 per annum for a single size garage and £96.00 per annum for a double size garage.
